This year was my first Christmas with no family around, but I got to go to a great friends house to help her cook for the three of us. I showed up around noon and we cooked and cooked until about 5 when we ate. We were all SOO hungry but the time it was time to eat. I guess that is the best way to do it. Be really hungry other wise you waste the food. Anyway I also made off with some great leftovers that I am going to eat here shortly.
Not being home for Thanksgiving though makes me super happy that I get to go home for Christmas and then when I head back Trent will be heading to DC also to MOVE out here!! I am so excited for the next month. I get to see my family for Christmas...both sides....and then I get to have my other half here finally to start our new life together!
