After the capital tour I went shopping at our personal market just across the parking lot. I had to get milk. It is great to not have to walk very far carrying a gallon of milk. Milk gets heavy when you have to carry it the whole way. Well of course I didn’t just buy milk…I had to get a 12 pack of pop and of course my Gatorade. If you ask my roomie from last year at school….Erica…she would tell you that it is the cardinal sin for me to only have one Gatorade left or to have zero. I start to go a lil stir crazy with out my fierce grape Gatorade.
Then after I got back it was time for my big time to start…Class started!! I know I said yesterday I was trying to get my class switched but I couldn’t and I think it was better that I couldn’t because I am really going to great class. A lot of fun, and very interesting. His teaching style is very laid back and not always politically correct and he said sometimes I swear. He is always cracking jokes though so that is ok with me. So the class that I am taking now is called Forensic Psychology. It was the one I was in before but tried to switch out of. The metro ride from my apartment to my class is just a little over an hour kind of a long way. If I could connect directly over it wouldn’t be a big deal but I have to go all the way down into the city to come back up in Virginia instead of in Maryland. My class is at Marymount University on the Ballston exit if you want to get a map and look. I live at the Grosvenor stop on the red line and Ballston is on the orange line so you will see how I have to go up and down.
The good news about me still having my class on Wednesday then this means I will get to go with my roomies to kick boxing on Monday nights :D I am super excited about that because it should be fun and a good bonding experience.
Tomorrow I have to make cookies for my roommates and also all our Puerto Rico friends because mom made cookies before she left and I got one and they were all gone. Everyone keeps asking me if I baked yet so I think I know what I will be doing tomorrow. I am not sure how I will do with having to do it the ole fashion way with a spoon. We always use a mixer to mix everything up. Mom did it and they loved it so we will see.

hey... have you checked out taking a bus from the red line to the (orange?). the bus system is pretty easy to use once you figure it out... have you used the metro online site... it will give you the quickest route to your destination -- and that might be via a bus!! sounds like you're doing great!!! so are you officially starting on monday, or have you heard yet? miss ya!
