Easter with the family!

Then Easter weekend I went home because my best friend Tabetha was having her wedding shower and I wanted to be there to support her so I went back home for the weekend. I left Thursday at 2 from DC and went back to DC Monday night. My weekend at home was AWESOME. I got to see a ton of family and friends and I got to see Mandy’s belly…SOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE…. I am SOOO happy for her and Justin and they are sooo happy and it was a joy to be around them. April was also home and it was awesome to see her. She is thinking about moving in with us this summer and I hope it happens because having family around would be awesome.
Friday morning I got fitted for Tab’s bridesmaid dress since I won’t be back again. It is soo pretty. Then I tried on some more wedding dresses quick since no one was there. I fell in love with another dress…and it is WAY cheaper. UGH…decisions decisions…ha ha!! Anyway then I went out with friends from where I worked last year.
Saturday was Tab shower and I got to see a lot of people and that was great. Then afterwards Trent’s mom and sister came down to meet us and we went and tried on more bridesmaids dresses….and I am pretty sure we figured out what dress we are going to get. The wedding colors though for …well pretty sure are Jade and Fuschia. I can’t wait to see how it all turns out. It was great to see Trent’s mom and sister! I had a great time!
On Sunday we went to Church and then afterwards the family came over and we ate easter dinner together as a family. Once dinner was over our family friend that is doing my wedding flowers that are silk, she came over to go over flowers and decorations. OMG I am soo excited for everything. We figured out everything for flowers. I can’t wait. I am going the simple but elegant route, totally different then what I know Mom would normally do but she is doing well at letting me choose what I want. It’s great!
On Monday Mom and I met up with my friend Emily early to head north. We went to craft stores and at the first store we found some pretty flowers and got enough to do two flower pieces. Then headed to Hobby Lobby. Once there we looked at the prices and everything was cheaper there AND it was 50% off of everything. The flowers were some much prettier there too so well…we got ALL of the silk flowers we are going to need for the wedding. So that is great because that is one less stress for me to think about now! YAY!!
Anyway that is my update for right now! It is great to be back I missed seeing everyone back home!
