Weekend with the Parents

My Mom and Dad came to visit last weekend. They arrived Thursday night and left this morning.
It was a great weekend. Actually it worked out that we had to move while they were here and as much as that sucked it was actually great to have them here because we got everything moved on Friday and then unpacked throught the weekend and now we only have 2 boxes left. Not bad! The apartment is great. We moved from a 1 bedroom to a two bedroom. We only had to go up two floors so it wasn't too bad.
On Saturday at noon Mom and my Friend Susan and I went and I tried on wedding dresses. We found out that at Davids Bridal you can only be in the dressing room for one hour and you only get to pick 4 dresses and then the lady bringin you dresses picks one out. Anyway I only tried one style of dresses this time but I am going to go somewhere another time to try on different dresses. But it was a great time getting to try on some and I was soo happy that Mom and Susan got to be there.
Then on Saturday night we went to Dave and Busters to eat...really late..we didn't start eating until 11:30 pm. But anyway we were back in the game room area and I see this guy walking for our table and then he leaned on the table. When I finally saw who it was..it was my ex-boyfriend from college and his girlfriend and a kid that is going to be interning at Interpol this semester. How crazy is that. We sat around and talked to them for about 20 mins before we went to eat. It is definately a small world...(thats for you Mandy).
Then on Sunday we did some more unpacking and put together things for the superbowl party at my co-workers house. Superbowl was a great time. Mom and Dad had a good time too I think!
Anyway the weekend was great and I miss them already!
