Update

There have been so many times in the last week where I have been like...wow I wish I had my blog right here to tell what we have just been through.
1st the cats are getting along great and I think they would be devastated if the other was gone now. I was totally expecting differently.
2nd Trent is now out here and his friend was out here for a week after Trent arrived because he drove with him. We did all the touristy things and got to see the marine 1 and well 3 off them going over the white house and one landing with the President. That was cool I had never seen that. Then on Sunday we took him to the air port...the next two things over lap but I will put them in 2 different things...so after we drop his friend off we took off to find Trents work...
3rd...while searching to Trents work we took the Garmin I gave him for Christmas to type in the address...when it wouldn't find signal we asked a police officer and I gave the wrong address so we went about 8 blocks in the wrong direction when the Garmin got signal and then took us another forever in the wrong direction until we were on a main highway and Trent was like I thought I wasn’t far from the metro and looked and saw he had the wrong address in it…and the kicker was if we would have turned right out of the metro instead of left we would have walked right two it and we had walked to it and looked at it and turned around because we had the wrong address.
4th…Trents friend is flying home, for his first time flying, and well when he gets to Atlanta his connecting was cancelled and had to wait until a 9 pm flight and when he finally got on the plane he said all he wanted to do was sleep but instead was put next to a fat woman that was sitting on him and wouldn’t stop talking to him. Then to make that better when he landed at 1 he was in Minneapolis and if you are familiar with that airport they have two terminals and well the one is a ways away and …that is where he landed and the transportation was done for the night because it was soo late…so he had to walk to the main parking lot in the middle of the night on ice and freezing winds for about 20 mins to find his car. Then he took off and went home 5 hours and once he got home he slept 3 hours and went to work…Crazy first flight.
5th On Tuesday the 6th Trent’s stuff arrived and they showed up late and then they had to wait for the elevator to move the stuff upstairs for someone moving out. So Trent got to work around 2 finally. Once I got home I was totally shocked as to how small my apartment looked because we had a 2 x 2 foot square to stand in the middle of the living room. So we unpacked the dishes to make sure they weren’t broken and went to bed. … oh yeah and the only spot we had for room we put up the cats new house from Nana and they LOVE IT!!

On Friday Trent’s work had a party for finishing their role out .. out here so I got to go to that and then on Saturday we had a Murder Mystery Party .. for welcoming Trent and saying good bye to the guy he is replacing in Arlington. It was awesome. It is a real life Clue. Trent and I were the couple opening the bar so we hosted the party and had to go around and talk to everyone…so I got to meet everyone so that was nice.
No one figured out who the Murder was though!

Now Trent is leaving today until Friday for a training in NYC. Wish I could go.

We have the big Inauguration coming up here next week. 4 day weekend :D yay!!
