How it happened...

So I flew home on Friday Nov, 7th to see my friends and family. I was to arrive at 10 pm at the Minneapolis airport where Trent was supposed to pick me up. At 9:15 my plane touched down …. Yes for once early..then my bag was the first one off of the plane. Also a never.
Ok now to the relevant stuff. Trent finally arrived around 9:45 to pick me up and we got back to his place around 10. When we got there, there were 2 dozen pink roses on the table with a pink gift bag sitting next to it. Trent said, “You can’t open the present until after we eat”. So we made spaghetti and after we got done eating I was like Can I open it!!!
So I did. In the bag was a willow tree figurine for Together. I was like this is soo cool. Then he started to talk to me about how we have had some struggles and things are going well and I chimed in and said, “yeah we came out stronger”. I was thinking, this is soo sweet that he got me this and I was oblivious of what was about to happen.
Then he was like…..SO….I might have another gift for you. I looked at him confused and then he pulled the ring box out of his pocket and got down on one knee and said “Ali Gunderson, will you MARRY ME”?
I immediately threw my hands up to my face and said Oh My God and started to cry and was like YES!! and gave him a big hug…I really didn’t look at the ring for like 3 mins because I was hugging him and saying seriously…omg!! Then I was like wait…can I put it on? Ha ha!! It is all funny now..because I didn’t know what was going on.
Homer (Trent’s cat) was even dressed in a little tuxedo to help out the situation. It was sooo cute!!

Anyway as for right now we don’t have any plans besides enjoying being engaged and getting him out here. I am hoping we will have a date in the next week or so. As I know more information I will post it on here!
