FLOODS :S

So...Monday morning I had quite the morning...and yes it started at 4:30 am when the fire alarms were going off .... that the only reason I heard them was because my friend who was here last week was getting ready to catch the metro to the airport...Anyway so I looked out to see if there were any firetrucks and...YEP there was. so I grabbed Mowgli and put her in the cat carrier and Christa and I went down stairs.
Anyway as we were getting ready to leave we could hear water running down my wall, in between the walls. I just figured it was a toilet flushing or something. UNTIL when we came back and could still hear it. But still not freaked out I got ready for work. As I was leaving the fire marshall was getting ready to knock on my door because my neighbors that I share a wall with flooded. So I told him about the running water..he came in and looked.
Well when i got home after work the carpet was all wet and you can see a water mark in the ceiling. So I gave the manager permission to get into my apartment to do what ever needs to be done. So today they pulled back the carpet and cut out the padding and are blowing that all dry. Then tomorrow they will come in and replace where there is no padding put the carpet back down and steam wash it.
On Thursday they will come and replace my dry wall in my wall.
So needless to say ALOT of stress right before my trip home...I NEED A VACATION!!
