First Few days

So I flew out to Washington DC on the 1st and I spent the weekend just getting re-acquainted with the DC area. On Sunday night I moved in with my friend by Cleveland park so that I had a place to stay until I found an Apartment. On Monday I went and got a new bank account which was quite the adventure in itself that took about an hour and a half. Then when I got done with that I spend 4.5 hours looking for apartments on line and made a bunch of calls to set up appointments for me to tour. I didn't really have any luck until it was just about too late to be looking anymore. I set up two appointments :D.
Then today I went and looked at the two apartments. The first one was way out of my range so that meeting lasted about 15 mins. So then i went to the McDonalds on the corner and gorged in my anxiousness of being here so I ate a greasy burger and felt somewhat better.
Then I went to my second appointment where I had soooooo much luck. The place is amazing. Where do you ask. THE SAME PLACE I STAYED AT LAST TIME. It has brand new carpet brand new wood flooring in the kitchen, brand new granite counter tops in the bathroom and kitchen. New black stove, dish washer, AND fridge and microwave and new cupboards. It has a balcony and a nice size living room and bed room :D I am excited so then I applied and put down my security deposit. I should know something about it by Thursday so wish me luck! YAY!
