Hello

So this last week was pretty sweet. I told you about the DEA tour and then we had a US Marshals tour. That tour was pretty sweet and I got to meet a guy that wants to drive a combine so I got his information so that he can call or e-mail me when he comes to Iowa to drive a combine. Talk about networking right. And then earlier this internship I was introduced to a Secret Service guy and he told me that he was going to be leaving until Nov. 12th and to e-mail him when he got back. So I e-mailed him and told him that since he had left that I had gone on a group tour so not to worry about setting up another tour. So he e-mailed me back and said, how about you come to the building Monday at 10 am. So I am going to get a personal tour of the Secret Service on Monday. I am excited/nervous because it is like a first interview type thing I guess because when ever you meet someone that is what it is. So I want to make a good impression. I am going to wear my suit that every one tells me makes me look like secret service so maybe they will think I will fit the part. ha ha
Other then that not a whole lot went on. I went to American Gangster last night with my roomie and some friends. It was a pretty sweet movie but what sucked is that the place was packed full so we had to sit in the second row and look up. On fast moving parts I closed my eyes so I wouldn't puke. haha but it is still a sweet movie.
Um..I have made some pretty sweet progress on my portfolio that we have to do for the washington center. I only have one more thing to type out and then put it all together and print off the first copy, read it and then fix it and then I am done. woo hoo. I am excited hopefully the week after Thanksgiving I can get it printed of and bound ready to hand in. Depends on when my advisor reads through my last homework assignment.
I am getting pretty excited for Thanksgiving though because my Mom and Dad are lil sister are coming cant remember if I told you that before but they are coming on Wednesday through Sunday. So I am excited to be able to see them again! Then only 3 weeks until I am home. I can't believe that it is almost over. But anyway until later. Take care!
