Updated of the weekend

Here I am going to try to catch you up on my most amazing weekend here. We went to Busch Gardens this weekend in Williamsburg Virginia. It was awesome. We left around 9:30 and arrived at the park around 2:30. We had to do all the potty stops and then we went to Rolando’s mom’s house so that she could come with us and it just all takes time. Well there were 8 puerto ricans and me, I had so much fun with them and Rolandos mom said she wanted to keep me. Also when we went out for breakfast Sunday morning she said to the waitress these are all of my children. I was like I don’t think I fit this whole mold…and she said to me, We adopted you from Germany. I laughed but it was awesome.
Busch Gardens in October is turned into a haunted house. When it starts to get dark they start making fog and having monsters in the bushes and just walking around amongst everyone and getting in everyone’s face and scaring people. I screamed and cried like a little baby when two mummies started chasing me and getting in my face. Not a good deal. But the rides were amazing. We didn’t get to go on a whole lot but we did a fair share. We also did simulators and all the other haunted houses.
Then on Sunday we went to Virginia Beach so that I could stick my feet into the ocean because they are all bragging about living in Puerto Rico and I don’t remember seeing the Atlantic so they took me so I could get pics there with everyone. It was awesome. The water was a little chilly but it felt good after a few seconds with your feet wet. After the whole ocean bit and going in the tunnel under the ocean we went and played laser tag. Now let me tell you something. There are some little farts that know how to shoot and some sneaky lil kids that have their parents wear the vest and they have the gun so you can’t shoot them. I was sad about that but that is ok. I didn’t get dead last. I got 25th out of 24 but a 7 yr old beat us all. Yeah tell me how that works. Ha ha! It was awesome though. I don’t think that I have ever laughed and smiled as much as I did this weekend. YAY for having fun!
My Monday started off with a bang. Mala and I were heading to the Pentagon tour that started promptly at 11. We left at 8:20 so we could stop at work and drop our purses off because you can’t take them in. Then we get on the metro to go to the Pentagon stop. Well it took us to right before the end 7 stops to far to realize we were on the wrong line. Not a good thing. So we get off and wait for another train that takes 10 mins to come. It is now 9:30 so around 9:40 we get on the train. It takes 10 mins to go a 3 min long train ride stop. And we get to the stop and they shut down that train so we have to get off and wait for another train. Long story short we make it to the Pentagon stop at 20 to 11. Perfect, plenty of time we think. We get up stairs and meet two other TWC people. They were like don’t even bother because the tour has already started. Yeah it started at 10 and they internet with the times listed on it said it started at 11. Needless to say we weren’t happy. Come to find out though there were more then 20 people that missed the tour so they are going to reschedule the event for us so we can see the petagon too. Thank good ness. So my Monday was really eventful. Also my roomie has the flu so she was wrapped around the toilet all day and night L makes it hard to get anything done.
So now on to Today, today has been eventful also, well I lost my metro card that has 70 dollars on it from work. This card is a smart card that is like a credit card that you register on line so if you lose it you can get it stopped and replaced. Well I registered mine and called today to get it cancelled and they can’t find me in the system anywhere. So needless to say again…NOT IMPRESSED. So lets hope the day gets much better from here on out. Hope all is well at home. Love you all!
