Arlington Jail

Today we went and toured the Arlington Jail and the Court house. It was great to get to see everything. We went into the high security part of the jail on the 9th floor to see how they secure everything. It was cool getting to see the security and how they set everything up in a circle rather then in big long lines. It really is more efficient to have them in a circle rather in a line. You can build up easier then out in bigger cities.

Then when we went to the Court House we got to see a lady get sentenced to 12 months jail time. She looked pissed at the world but whatever I guess. Then we got to talk to the Judge a little bit. It was cool to get to talk to him somewhat informally. He answered a lot of questions we had and told us to come back and visit on those same circumstances, never as an offender. It was funny.

But then after this we went to work from 2 until 5. I got all caught up at work so it was awesome. Now I am ahead kind of, now I will get different projects because I have all of my supervisors stuff caught up that she has given me. So now I will be getting more in depth work so I am excited about that.

Tomorrow all I have going on is work during the day and then I think I am going to get some Salsa lessons. I am very excited about this because I will be learning from a true salsa dancer J so I will actually look good when I go to dance at a Latino bar. Anyway I don’t know a whole lot. Things are going rather well. Hope all is well at home!!
