Move In Day!!

Wow it is crazy getting here and meeting everyone but it was also fun. I have one roomie who is from West Virginia and she lives in my room. She is great!! Then we have two roomies from Puerto Rico…they are soo nice and they told us they are going to teach us Spanish.!! So I am excited about that!

Lets see our day started around 8:30 am, we got all our stuff ready and out the door by 11 and we got a taxi to take us to my apartment in North Bethesda Maryland. It was a pretty drive but I am glad that I don’t have to drive it at all.

We were the first of my roomies to get here so I got first pick. I picked the room with its own bathroom with entrance only from our room and the walk in closet :D… and another smaller closet with cool dividers. The other girls got two closets that are small and the bathroom has two doors one to their room and one to the rest of the apartment.

We have a nice little kitchen and nice brand new furniture. New Couch and chair and new dining room table new tv and new dvd player. Cant complain except for the fact that the cable doesn’t work and the internet is slow because we are stealing it from someone else…ha ha that is what you get for not securing your network.

My roommate Lena from West Virginia is awesome. Her parents are amazing and have done so much for me already. I have to do my background check and finger prints out here and when we went to the grocery store he went and talked to a police officer to get me lined up and then when we got back to our apartment he called around to find me a place to do my fingerprints on Thursday!! WOW…I would have not gotten things done without him. The only bad thing was we came up to our apartment for a mandatory meeting that ¾ of the people walked in late too…(annoying) and then we went to our room for a while. While we were up there we decided we should go to Target. So when we went down to get in the van they brought…IT WAS GONE…… shreek right…well they towed his van and it was $171 dollars to get it back. NOT GOOD…then we missed the time span to go to Target to get our things..oh well he got it back.

Then we came back here and just relaxed for the rest of the night!! Woohoo…now its time for day two! Take care everyone!
